This durable thermometer can withstand water immersion. The Waterproof Folding Thermocouple Thermometer is rated at IPX7, which means it is  protected against water immersion for 30 minutes at one metre. More than enough protection against dropping the thermometer into a full sink or even a pot of soup. The TCTW572 is NSF® Certified, with a 11cm 304 stainless-steel stem that automatically turns the thermometer on and off.
